  15. The 'keydrill' program recently posted has a copyright statement in
  16. it.  (It isn't a legally binding one, but we're talking about the
  17. spirit of the Law, not the letter.) Before posting, I called the
  18. company listed in the code and asked for the permission to post it.
  19. The person I spoke with stated that they had no such program, thus the
  20. copyright was not put there by them and it was OK to post.

  22. Today I spoke with the president of the company who confirmed they had
  23. no such program, but said the program *may* be based on a book he
  24. publishes, and thus *may* infringe on his copyright -- he won't know
  25. until he sees the code, which I am sending him (on paper, since he
  26. does not have an Amiga).  After he has examined the code he will
  27. decide if a potential copyright problem exists.

  29. In the meantime, please delete any copies of 'keydrill' that you may
  30. have in your possession, and notify anyone who may have received a
  31. copy.

  33. If it turns out that the code is once again OKed to post, I will
  34. re-post it.
